Training of Trainers (ToT)

The ToT combines technical learning with adult learning and facilitation techniques, equipping trainers to lead sessions that are engaging, inclusive, and practical. Participants learn to plan and facilitate workshops, adapt materials to different contexts, and embed cross-cutting themes such as gender, protection, and environmental responsibility.

Through co-investment with local trainers, the programme creates a multiplier effect — strengthening national training capacity, promoting peer learning, and embedding logistics standards within local systems. This cascading approach, known as the “PARCEL effect,” ensures that humanitarian logistics knowledge remains accessible, sustainable, and rooted in local leadership.
