Transforming humanitarian logistics through capacity sharing and local leadership.

Through the PARCEL Network, we connect local, national, and international actors to share knowledge, resources, and leadership in humanitarian logistics.

Partner Capacity Enhancement in Logistics

The PARCEL initiative facilitates organizations’ leadership in upholding shared humanitarian logistics standards. The collaborative initiative builds on engagement, in-kind contributions and adoption of allied international, national and local NGOs, and has received financial support from DG-ECHO to develop resources, pilot training activities, and strengthen collaboration among local, national and international NGOs in two phases: the initial PARCEL Project, from 2014 to 2015 and PARCEL 2.0 from 2024 to 2026.

Through the creation of the PARCEL Network in 2025, the initiative promotes meaningful knowledge exchange and resource sharing between local, national, and international organizations, supporting collaborative and locally led humanitarian response.

Together, we are working toward a more inclusive and sustainable humanitarian logistics system — one where local and national actors lead the way in delivering timely, effective, and appropriate assistance.
