The PARCEL Logistics Training is designed as a one-week, in-person programme consisting of full-day sessions (approximately seven hours per day).
Its modular structure allows trainers to tailor the content to their audience — selecting the modules most relevant to their context and adjusting the duration as needed. Each module is designed to stand alone and can be delivered independently.
For example, a facilitator may choose to host a three-day Supply Chain Learning Event focused on procurement, warehousing, and distribution, while omitting modules on asset or fleet management.
Cross-cutting themes —gender justice, intersectional protection (including for marginalized genders and identities), environmental sustainability, accountability to affected people, and inclusive communication—are integrated throughout all modules.
Each module includes:
- Presentation Slides (visual summaries)
- Case Studies & Scenarios
- Facilitator guidelines
- Activities handouts
- Evaluation Tools (pre/post-tests and feedback forms)
At PARCEL, we have also developed a full training dedicated to Training of Trainers, to develop a pool of competent trainers who can effectively deliver PARCEL training to others, multiplying impact and building sustainable local capacity.
